Program Schedule Specifics
The presentations will be held at 28 Hillhouse Avenue, rooms 106, B8 and Tobin Common Room and 34 Hillhouse Avenue, rooms 202 and 203. The room assignment is posted on the program schedule. Each room will contain an LCD Projector, screen and overhead projectors will be available in all the rooms at 28 Hillhouse Avenue. We will also have an Audio-Visual Technician on hand should difficulties arise with the equipment.
As we will be providing coffee, tea, snacks and all meals for the conference we are requiring everyone to register in order to ensure we have ample beverages and food available, as well as presentation materials on hand.
Chairs have been assigned for each session. Each presenter will be given 20 minutes to present and discussants should have 7 minutes each. In sessions with only three papers, both presenters and discussants could go a little longer.
As papers become available by authors they are being posted on website. As expected we are also finding discussants needing to be reassigned from what is currently posted so please keep this in mind and bear with us as we continue fine-tuning.
There are three copy centers within walking distance available. They are:
Docuprint & Imaging, 27 Whitney Ave, New Haven #776-6000. Hours are: Mon - Fri. 9am - 7pm, Saturday 9am - 5pm, Sunday closed.
Kinko's, 55 Church Street, Open 24 hours, #777-5725.
Tyco's, 262 Elm St @ Broadway, #562-9723, Friday 8am - 6pm, Saturday 8am - 5pm, Sunday 10am - 5pm.
The Emergency Contact Number for participants at the conference is 203-432-3620. Please note this number will not be answered by a live person, voicemails will be checked regularly. A message board will also be set up for participants.
We do not have wireless access available. There are a few kiosks available for checking email within walking distance to the conference. We will gladly provide directions to anyone who needs to access them.
