September 4, Tuesday Written Comprehensive Exam in Micro 10:00-1:00 B8, 28 Hillhouse

Departmental Registration continues

Orientation for all new Teaching Fellows
September 5, Wednesday Fall term classes begin
September 7, Friday Final day to pick up registration materials from academic departments
September 14, Friday Final day to apply for a fall term personal leave of absence

The entire fall term tuition charge or continuous registration fee (CRF) will be canceled for students who withdraw from the Graduate School on or before this date or who are granted a leave of absence effective on or before this date
September 19, Wednesday Fall-term Online Course Selection (OCS) ends.

Final day for registration.
A fee of $25.00 is assessed for forms submitted after this date.
September 28, Friday One-half of the fall term full-tuition charge will be canceled for students who withdraw from the Graduate School on or before this date or who are granted a medical leave of absence effective on or before this date
The CRF is not pro-rated
October 1, Monday Final date for faculty to submit grades to replace temporary incompletes (TIs) awarded during the 2006/07 academic year

Econometrics paper submission deadline

Due date for dissertatons to be considered by the Degree Committees for award of the Ph.D. in December

Final day to file petitions for degrees to be awarded in December
October 15, Monday Oral Examinations scheduled through Friday, October 26
October 26, Friday Midterm

Final day to add a fall term course

One-quarter of the fall term full-tuition charge will be cancelled for students who withdraw from the Graduate School on or before this date or who are granted a medical leave of absence effective on or before this date

November 2, Friday Readers’ reports are due for dissertations to be considered by the Degree Committees for award of the Ph.D. in December

November 9, Friday Departmental recommendations are due for candidates for December degrees
November 15, Thursday SPEAK test for international students in Ph.D. programs

Spring term classes begin
January 18, Friday Friday classes do not meet.   Monday classes meet instead
January 21, Monday Martin Luther King, Jr. Day — Administrative offices closed.  No classes.
January 24, Thursday Final day to apply for a spring term personal leave of absence
